"I was very concerned about my mum going into a care home but there was no need. Every member of staff there are fantastic and provide amazing care for her and other residents. There are always plenty of staff around and the home is continuously being cleaned. They have daily activities to keep everyone stimulated and days out when able to. I couldn't think of a better place for mum to be."

"Alzheimer's is a horrible disease and damages families. Knowing my mum is being cared for by Beech House, helps us cope. They are like a family and obviously enjoy working there as most of them have been there long term. We are able to visit anytime we like and they are always happy to see us. It's always clean, food is nice and communication is good. We couldn't be happier with our choice of care home."
Tracey H
Daughter of Resident
"We'll run professional and friendly care home. There are lots of fun activities and some day trips out. The staff are lovely and welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. I feel mum is very well looked after there and they're so good with dad when he visits mum. Would highly recommend."

"Mum has been with Beech House around 6 weeks. She is still settling in, but seems happy most of the time. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Really attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are really on the ball with any medical matters which is comforting for my family. The staff provide lots of varied activities and my mum has already been out for a day trip. Facilities are great. The food is good and the garden is beautiful. I couldn't wish for a better place for my mum than Beech House.. I give it 5 STARS, even though the review is saying 4."

"I am extremely happy with all the support and care that all the staff supply to my dad, my dad has come on so much and is coming out of his shell and speaking to all off the other residents. And every time I come to see him he is always sat in the lounge smiling. I have worked in the care setting and would 100% recommend Beech House to anyone that is looking for a residential care home."

"My mother has been at Beech house for 5 years. She has dementia and bipolar. She has been shown the utmost kindness and compassion from the caring staff there. The daily activities are fun and joined in by all to the best of their capacity in this inclusive environment. . I can Wholeheartedly say I'm so grateful for the liove, care and respect she receives there."

"My Dad had been a resident since May 2025, my Mum from May 2024. The care they have had has been brilliant. Sadly on 31st Dec my Dad passed away. In the week or two leading up to his death the staff were super stars. They showed real compassion, love and care for Dad and he was treated with the dignity he deserved. They even supported my Mum by letting her sit with him at times during his final few hours. He had a very peaceful death and as a family we will be forever grateful for that. They continue to care for Mum with calm and gentleness as she navigates life without him. The words Thank you dont seem enough."

"I think Beech House is a superb setting for my mother, she has improved greatly since moving there and is slowly coming out of her shell and back to the mother we once used to know. The staff and carers are.all superb and go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and looked after."

"Beech House is like a Home from Home. My dad has been a part of the Beech House family for 3 years now and we cannot say a bad word about them. The staff and management team have become part of my Dad's family now (and ours to be fair). They take such good care of him - tending to all his needs. The food menu always looks delicious with a great variety - the kitchen and chef staff are super. Since being a part of Beech House, the staff have remained stable and there is very little turnover, demonstrating the friendly, productive and conducive environment that you will find here. I visit often and am always happy to see Dad freshly taken care off and busy with one thing or another. The variety of activities and things that they partake in is amazing - never a dull moment and the family days that they plan are so good! I love my visits at Beech House. Well done to all the staff. We always are made to feel welcome and have a cup of tea. I wouldn't want my Dad anywhere else !"

Plenty of staff to care for the residents and regular activities take place. We see the same staff members and this indicates they like working at Beech House, and this gives me peace of mind. I would certainly recommend."

"This is not a very large care home but the atmosphere is cosy with cheerful staff with a positive mindset. Some care assistants could benefit from better training, regarding manual handling and communication, but this doesn't seem to be a major issue overall."

"I moved Mum to Beech House in March this year from a care home in Northampton to be nearer to me. I can honestly say, I was so concerned about moving her but it's the best thing I could have done for her! The staff are so lovely to the residents and to us visitors. The standard of the home is amazing! My mum's room is lovely, it's recently been decorated along with the rest of the home and everywhere is always clean. The food is very good and plenty of it. From management to the cleaners, you're all amazing, thank you!"

Wouldn't want Mum to be anywhere else. The whole team are amazing and go above and beyond for the residents. Can't thank them enough or say enough good things about the whole place."

The staff are warm and caring, as is the atmosphere, and Mum was very well looked after; nothing was ever too much trouble. Sadly, due to unforeseen medical issues, Mum has had to move into a nursing home and has settled in well. However, we will think of Beech House often and with fond memories. Thank you to all the team."

"My Mum came to Beech House over 18 months ago now and has been very well cared for in all aspects by all staff. They work very hard to look after Mum as an individual and have got to know her and how to deal with difficult days! Mum has had a few falls recently due to her condition. Beech House have been able to continue to look after her and monitor her at the care home once a clinician has assessed her needs to not go to hospital which is brilliant and less traumatic for her. Now Covid rules have lifted we can visit anytime. Mum likes the meals. The manager and his team are always available if we need to speak to them. We have been contacted by them straight away if they need to inform us about my Mum having had a fall or anything. "Beech House is a lovely, small, homely care home, where the staff really do care about the residents, despite the challenges of their Dementia. The level of care my mum has experienced so far is very good and nothing is too much trouble. I like the fact that I can ring the home at any time for an update. Whenever I contact Beech House with a query, or to book a visit, the response is prompt, professional, and very friendly. On a particular note are the in-house cooking, reliable laundry service and the many activities and outings that are regularly arranged by the enthusiastic team. Hairdresser and chiropodist visits are arranged regularly and mum has access to optician and dentist consultations. Beech House has been diligent in ensuring Covid safety for residents and visitors. "My aunt who has Dementia has been a resident in Beech House for just over a year. I am extremely impressed with the quality of care the team provides, the staff are always on hand to discuss her care plan, are friendly and above all kind to the residents. From a well-being perspective, my aunt's hair is washed and cut regularly, her nails are trimmed, her clothes are clean, the food is good, and all the residents are encouraged to join in activities organised for them. Her bedroom is adequate for her needs, the dining room spacious and bright and the decking area is great for when the weather permits residents to sit outside. She is very happy there and it is clear to all her extended family that her overall health and well-being have improved since she moved to Beech House."
S R
Daughter of Resident
"I can highly recommend Beech House and the care my father received from everyone there. Many of the staff are still the same as when he first arrived, I am sure that consistency was a great comfort to him. I was always kept well informed of his well-being during the Covid crisis, the fact that my father never contracted the virus shows the lengths they went to protect their vulnerable residents. Whenever I visited him, the staff always took the time to tell me how much they liked my father and he in turn seemed very happy in their company. The kindness shown to me and my family on his passing was very touching. I have only good memories and thoughts of his time at Beech House. A big thank you to you all. Cannot recommend it highly enough."
Lynne G
Daughter of Resident
"Dad was admitted to Beech House in January 2021, which with Covid, was not ideal but the entire team at Beech House couldn't have been more helpful. The team are absolutely fabulous and we are delighted that Dad has benefitted from the same consistent team since then - care, activities, admin & manager - which we think is very important. The home is rightly being cautious about opening up fully to a pre-Covid position which would enable us to see more of the day-to-day operation. But we have no doubt, that when this happens, we will be equally delighted with what we discover."
R W
Daughter of Resident
"My father went to live in Beech House in August 2020 and we have been delighted with the care he has received. All the staff have been really helpful and understanding and he settled in quickly. The manager and staff are always available to chat on the phone and the precautions to protect against Covid are very well managed. Activities are organised on a regular basis to stimulate and give pleasure to the residents and it is possible to follow this on the Facebook page. The outside area is very welcoming for the residents to sit in during the warmer months. A huge thank you to Beech House, which is to be highly recommended."
Tina R
Daughter of Resident
"My mum has been at Beech House since about September 2020 and she has really flourished since arriving. The staff and everyone associated with Beech House has made my mum comfortable safe and happy again. Thank you Beech House."
Sally F
Daughter of Resident
"I am really happy with the care mum receives at Beech House, especially in the difficult times with COVID 19; the care cannot be faulted. The staff are kind and caring and this has helped mum settle in. The genuine rapport between Mum and the staff makes me feel confident that she is safe and well cared for physically, but more importantly emotionally. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech House."
D W
Daughter of Resident
"I'm very pleased with the care my mum receives in the home, especially now with these strange times with Covid-19. We have been kept informed, and they are very helpful when we phone and Whatsapp in, to speak with Mum."
Helen F
Friend of Resident
"The Beech House care team have been very helpful, kind and understanding about the specific needs of a wonderful gentleman who I helped to move in. The friendly and homely house welcomed him from day one into their activities and started to find out his likes, needs and favourite foods too - there are wonderful aromas of home cooking every day. The home manager is approachable about all matters so I recommend a visit if you are considering this home for someone you care about."
S
Daughter of Resident
"The home is secure and good value for money and well managed. Care staff work very hard and are caring and kind. They are always welcoming to visitors. Some areas of the home need updating and décor refreshed/updated. Some windows need replacing. Activities are good but need improving to accommodate residents with advanced dementia. The home helps and encourages residents to maintain outside interests, although sadly this has stopped due to relatives level of dementia."
Jean
Wife of Resident
"The carers are very caring and they inform me of what needs my husband needs and they care for him very well and take him out in the summer months on day trips."
Stephen
Son of Resident
"Mum is cared for and well presented. Mum is sometimes difficult and yet staff deal with her with humour and kindness. She is happy there but cannot actually tell us what she does - due to the dementia! Her room is well cared for and she is dressed in her own clean clothes. She can be difficult and staff appreciate this and share the information with us, they let us know when there have been issues, and what these issue are. Food is good and as a visitor I have been offered lunch when I arrived at an inopportune moment. Mum is keen to come out for a while and have a ride around but actually wants to go back there if we bring her to our house. Dementia is dreadful and the team at Beech House do their very best to make it as painless as possible."
J B
Daughter of Resident
"My mother has been treated very well and all her needs seem to be met. It is good to see her sitting in the lounge more often rather than in her room. Care needs to be taken when washing clothes as some tops/cardigans seem to be washed on too high a setting."

"I'm very pleased with the care my mum receives in the home, especially now with these strange times with Covid-19. We have been kept informed, and they are very helpful when we phone and Whatsapp in, to speak with Mum."

Wife of Resident
"The carers are very caring and they inform me of what needs my husband needs and they care for him very well and take him out in the summer months on day trips."

"My mother has been treated very well and all her needs seem to be met. It is good to see her sitting in the lounge more often rather than in her room. Care needs to be taken when washing clothes as some tops/cardigans seem to be washed on too high a setting."

"The care is good to excellent. We are kept informed of any incident, medical care requirements and general welfare. The food provided is good. The staff are friendly and professional."
